Postgraduate and Undergraduate Research Conference
Friday 14th November – Sunday 16th November 2008
The Conference Room, David Hume Tower, Edinburgh
Keynote Speaker: Adam J. Carter (Edinburgh, Epistemology),
Hear and discuss high quality Undergraduate and Postgraduate research papers on a variety of topics, selected by blind review. Meet other keen students and discuss ideas in your field.
The conference will run from 6pm Friday until 2pm Sunday. Registration is £5 (which will include refreshments, printing and wine reception). Details of accommodation in Edinburgh can be found at www.visitscotland.com .

Call for Papers
Undergraduates and Postgraduates are invited to submit papers of 2,000-2,500 words (15-20 minutes reading time), accompanied with an abstract of approx. 300 words.
We accept papers on any area of academic philosophy. Papers must be research based and argumentative (not merely descriptive).
Papers should be prepared for blind review (please provide a separate cover sheet with name, contact details, affiliation, level of study – PG/UG and year of study). No personal details on main document. Please also indicate whether you will provide your own respondent, would like us to find one, or would rather not have one.
Papers should be submitted to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deadline for submissions: Friday 6th October at 5pm
Call for Respondents:
We are also looking for respondents. We will send potential respondents the accepted papers (approx 23rd October), we ask you to accept or decline the job by 26th October, and to send us a draft of your response by 30th Oct. If you are interested in being a respondent, please email [email@example.com->firstname.lastname@example.org ] with name, affiliation, and areas of expertise.
