Ancient Philosophy Today: Dialogoi invites paper submissions on the subject of Presocratic metaphysics and its contemporary relevance, both broadly conceived, for a forthcoming edition.

The journal specializes in work highlighting the relevance and value of ancient texts in addressing the philosophical issues of our day, and the goal of this edition is to bring Presocratic philosophy to bear on contemporary thinking in fruitful ways.  Primary sources could include Hesiod, the Milesians, Pythagoras, Xenophanes, Heraclitus, Parmenides, Zeno, Empedocles, Anaxagoras, Democritus, Leucippus, Melissus, Philolaus, and the Sophists, as well as lesser-studied figures.
